will running shock extensions have any negative effect on articulation? Not sure why I am having a hard time with wrapping my head around it but seems like it would give more down travel but less up travel, is this correct or am I looking at it wrong. Would adding say a 1" extension turn a shock that normally has a extended length of say 24" and a collapsed length of 15" into essentially a 25" and 16" shock? thanks

If its a mall Crawler (nothing wring with that) then it shouldn't matter. He's not flexing it or beating on it on the trails, then just get a bb and be don't with it. Or like other guy said, get a 1" and. 75" spring spacer puck and be don't with it

Jadmt : I'm running a 2.5" TF BB with the shock extensions and I have decent amount of up travel. My 35s tuck well into the fenders. In my case they don't limit the up travel, the bump stops do.

Shock extensions should not do anything to change your overall articulation or travel. You are right on your measurements and you should also add as much extra bump stop as you do with the extensions so you don't bottom out the shocks.
