Congrats on the decision, T5. Wish OME had a deal like that.

I truly hope the Ranchos work for you and you don't have all the horrible stories of Rancho that I do when you are done. Personally,, I would hesitate to buy any shock that the manufacture has to offer 1 out of 4 for free just to get them off the shelf. I fully understand that I am biased against Rancho, but it IS based on personal experience. The only product they produce that I might buy,,,, the oil pan skid plate!,,,, Dam you Rancho,, You are gonna get my money one way or the other

I am also looking at the Rancho 9000 along with a leveling kit(pucks only no springs).

The one question I have for those with Bilsteins is, did they increase the firmness of our Jeep at all?

Thanks,
Mike P

It is a nice piece. And again sorry about your experience with Rancho, we do our best to make all happy.

Monotubes, in general, offer a firmer ride at all times. Our RS9000XL's offer a soft or firm ride...
While you are looking at leveling kits, take a moment and look at ours.

RS66109BR9 for a 4 door with our adjustable shocks.

RS66108BR9 for a 2 door with our adjustable shocks.

I own a small wheeling "park", we keep it free. We have had two of our group install and them remove the Bilstien 5100's because they were firmer than they wanted. They are a high quality shock no bones about it but they are stiffer than some people prefer myself included. This is all very speculative and each person will have a different requirement that feels the best for them. To each his own...
