Default Should I go with the stinger??

I am having trouble deciding on whether to buy a poison spyder lite brawler bar or the poison spyder lite brawler stinger bar. Is it worth getting the stinger or not? Maybe if anyone has pictures of them? You don't need to have either one of these installed i just want opinions. I really like the look of a stinger but thats me.

I'd go with the stinger if it were me, if the winch would've been sunken into the bumper this is what I would've bought but I opted for the EVO stinger

If you really like the look, I don't see what the debate is. Check out the sponsor section for pics. Being so new, I think only a couple guys have them so far.

The stinger also serves a functional purpose. It is meant to keep your jeep from rolling if you go down something too steep and end up on your nose.

Personally, I opted for a hoop rather than a stinger. I like the look but I will not be doing anything extreme enough to actually need it, and I didn't want to be staring at it over the top of my hood all the time.

The photo above illistrates the need for a stinger quite well. However, ask yourself how much you plan to do with the Jeep.

Personally, I dislike the looks of all stingers and thus do not have one. More importantly, I am afraid of what I will try to do with my Jeep if I have the confidense of a stinger.

Keep in mind, the more you modify your Jeep, the more hard core of trails you will take.

My goal is to never take a trail that might cause me to roll my Jeep.

Good Luck.

I was denied access to a car wash because the guy was worried my stinger would destroy it. Seems like discrimination to me.

I have a stinger (not made by PS). I went with a stinger for two reasons... 1. Functionality. I would rather not use it obviously, but if I ever do need to use it.. its there. 2. I like the look.

Brawler lite here, not a fan of boner bars unless you're actually going to be in that situation. Out here on the EC that's a rarity.

I had brawler lite with regular bar on last jeep. Going with BFH with trail stinger on next build. I think it depends on the build. My last build was mild with 3 1/2" lift and 35s on a rubicon. Build I'm working on now is heavily moded with 60 axles 40's and 5 1/2" lift. Don't know I might be just over compensating for things.
