Default Side indicators for flat fender flares

I am looking for any information regarding the installation of side indicators with flat fender flares on 2010 JK Unlimited.

I was only able to find one video on Youtube showing how to accomplish this by boreing out the large hole near the front of the wheel well and installing a rubber grommet and an led light. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgr8SsDfzog The video doesn't explain exactly what led light to purchase and the dimension of the hole/grommet used.

I am wondering if anyone else has done this and if so, what specific light was used and maybe some other ideas as well.

Any info would be appreciated.

Default Think I found the one he used

I believe that this is the led used in the video.

Has anyone else done this and if so, how easy is it to wire these lights.

Thanks again

Poison Spyder, Nemesis and some others offer some marker light options.

Did mine and just picked up a couple of amber LEDs at O'Rilies. They were about 3/4" diameter.

I picked up a set from six robblees for around $10-$12 with grommets. Drill a 3/4 hole and slide them in. Cut the plug from old marker light and attach new wires.

Default Thanks

Nice.. looks like these will be the ones to go with by drilling 3/4" bore. Think I'll grab a pair to please DOT.
I haven't removed the current signals yet but I do see that there is a plug connector behind the rocker panel, though I am not the most skilled at wiring. Should I just cut the current light off at a given point, insert the grommets (after boring), wire the lights through the grommets to the cut ends from where the old lights were, solder, heat-shrink and go.

Also.. it looks like the 3/4" LED's have 2 wires (assuming black and white). Is it pretty self-explanatory as to which/how these wires get soldered? Is there a black and white wire when I cut off the existing light or are the jeep wires colored differently?

Thanks Eric. Just grabbed these from you guys.

Thanks again for all the help.

I used the stock lights and put them inside the fender well. You can still see them when lit

I bought some amber led ones and used long screws to tap it into the plastic support. Looks factory ton of compliments.

Sorry can't get pics to upload now.

I was wondering how I could use the stock lights. But I wasn't sure where/how to fasten them. Would love to see how you did it.

Thanks
