Default Side steps anyone?

So my lovely girlfriend and my kids have all complained about getting in the Jeep with the lift and bigger tires. The lady has said there is no way she will even try to get in it with a sexy skirt on...damn the bad luck.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone out there had figured out how to fix this on the cheap. Has there been any luck fabbing up something that would fold up out of the way?

I am dealing with the same issue you are with the lift and a short wife and kids on top of that. I was thinking about some how extending my step bars down about 2 inch or so. I see that you have stock step rails on your jeep now. You might try to fab something up to make a bracket that extends the rails down some. I think that the step rails are attached by a bolts at like 3 spots so really thick washer or some sleeve or fab a bracket.

Just an idea befor you go spending 300-400$ on some new rails when you have some sitting on your jeep now. If I do mine I will send you some pics and if you do yours send me some pic's.LOL

To bad you don't live in WA. I have a set of running boards like new I would like to sell but they are to much of a pain to ship.

Just read you have a 4 door and my jeep is a two door.

I don't remember who makes them but it's some rockrails that you unpin or something and you just flip them down when you are cruising around town and you can flip them back up for protection against rocks

I took one of my coworkers to lunch in my jeep (she asked to ride in it). She shows up in a skirt. I opologize and say we can take her car. She says "Hell no!", pulls her skirt up to her waste and hops in!

THAT is a jeeper!

Yeah it is one small drawback. I doubt I'll be posting any pics of that in the "Pics of my JK and wife or girlfriend" thread. I kinda asked her about that today at lunch and her response was just slightly less than GO F&*K YOURSELF. She IS pretty hot though...we make 'em right here in Louisiana.

This is EXACTLY what I am looking for!
