Heh, sadly I have to have them on my Thursday afternoon, I am going to the Jamboree in Knoxville. I might call my Offroad Shop and see if they will do it for me. I am re-read this twice and it is a bit daunting. <sigh>

I'm tempted in purchasing the LOD 2-Door Rock Sliders.

Are they reasonably easy to install ? Some Drilling required ?
Are they strong enough to allow lift of the vehicle with Hi-Lift jack ?

I am also looking at the LoD sliders, only thing I'm worried about is that the dealer I bought the Jeep from said if you modify the frame at all (drill holes for sliders?) you void the warranty

Easy install. They seem well designed and could easily support the weight of the vehicle. I recommend them. Some drilling, some tapping, but not difficult. There are enough existing mounting points to use so that marking your mounting holes is easy.

I'm enthusiast about modding my JK and I always forget that I'm in warranty. Too bad that LoD sliders can void it, any confirmation ?

What part of your warranty are you worried about? Drilling a few holes shouldn't affect any type of warranty except weakening the frame. If I thought that was the case I wouldn't do the install. The dealer can't just void your entire warranty because you drill a few holes. They have to show that your mods caused a malfunction. Drilling holes won't affect your engine or drivetrain....unless you slip and puncture the oil pan. Install the sliders, you'll love them. I do!

Go with PureJeep. I ranted on here a little bit about something, and got a PM less than a day later with a resolution to my problem.

I am much more impressed with their customer service than some of the other companies listed.

I really like the Schrockworks, but like someone else mentioned the very long wait put me off. Not a customer service issue, quality takes time, but 4wks can turn into 8 or 12 pretty quick.

LoD - I emailed a while back about getting a set, checking availability and haven't heard yet. Might have given up to easily.

@ Lee: Thanks for your reply, I agree about what you wrote It's time to purchase and then drill.

I emailed LoD two times and I got answer after 5/7 days. I'm now waiting for a custom quote including international shipping.

Yeah LOD took like 6 days to respond to my email too. Not a good sign, but damn they look like nice rails. If I was in a hurry I would have said screw 'em but I'm not so I'll still consider them when I pull the trigger.
