Will one of you guys with the RR snorkel post an underhood pic.

I'm wondering what all had to be relocated for the install.

I have a Volant intake on my Z71 Silverado. Excellent quality part. I was very impressed with the construction, fit, and finish.

i really do love the differing opinions between RR and AEV. I of course, love my river raider. I liked the one AEV that the guy built a Ram Air for, but otherwise just dont like the long outside flow.

I also have never had water get to filter. Who has with the RR? anyone?

out of curiosity where is the drain on AEV?

Any one ever dynoed these snorkel systems? I reallize their sole purpose is not to make power but it would be terrible if they were to accidently choke off some air. The river raider looks like some dainty pipes from here but maybe its just the pictures.

Ive never seen or used either, just curious.

Meh, not so much. You are basically forced to keep stock fenders (I think it would look odd with after market ones. I do like the Ram air on it though, and on the site they have a parts list. I wonder if it would fit on an AEV?

Still prefer the AEV, install looks the easiest and you can go back to stock air box if so desired.
I have a friend who installed it and has gone back to stock while not wheeling. He lost a couple MPG with the snorkel.
