Rugged ridge has one with a dust pre filter. I have it installed on my jeep.

ive got a donaldson top spin pre filter on my snorkel and it really helps here in new mexicos dust. I doubt an upgraded filter will do much, ive ran a k&n and a cold air intake and noticed no difference. With the snorkel my main filter stays very clean compared to some of my buddies with just a filter.

I had the Volant snorkel on a 2011, and the hardest part was actually cutting the hood. I personally am not putting one on my new jeep. I really didnt see any noticeable gains, Ive just always liked the way they have looked.

agreed, no noticable gains, but my intake filter is damn clean after dusty runs where others without the prefilter are horrible. If theres other stuff on your list to buy, i might move this down the list, but thats up to you.

I used the top spin on mine when we were in Moab and the filter stayed very clean compared to some of the guys that had no snorkel.

Can this be added to the AEV snorkel? Or does anything work with the AEV version. I couldn't believe how dirty my air filter was this past summer after one dusty run. What about turning the snorkel head facing backwards just for the day... Would that help??

Nope, there's not. So, does that mean that you have no hopes of ever taking your rig on a trip somewhere else where there might be water crossings? I intend that as a rhetorical question: Sometimes folks think of what's at hand, and not what they might want to do in the future.
