I'm seriously looking at moving from a manual TJ to a JK. The JK Rubis that are possible deals are all autos.

Should I take DS replacement as a given if I get an auto and put on an OME? (I'll be wheeling mostly in Pine Barrens)
I really like the auto in the JK. From what I understand you can run the OME lifts and be OK with the stock driveshafts. Part of it is your use and how far afield you get. If you don't go places that could take a couple of days to drive out of and the terrain isn't extreme you'd probably be ok. If you do decide to get one a 1310 can be had from a number of sources in the 350-375 range.

I spent 400 at Woods and got a 1330 set up for the front. Stonger then the 1310. Bigger. But, not so big that it will have clearance issues with anything.

Default front driveline problems

I tore the boot cover about six months ago but now the driveline has hit my tranny so much the pan is starting to leak. So now i am looking for a new driveline that hopefully wont cost me my left arm.

Can you guys post what you paid and where you got it and if you like it?

I went down to Tattons this morning and he is making me a new front driveline right now and will be installing it monday, it will be a long travel, 1.20 wall with 1310 joints and he asked me not to post the price but so far it is way cheaper than anybody else and he is installing it for me, He also told me if I ever have a problem with it he will take care of it.

I will let you know how it comes out next week.

Nobody has mentioned TeraFlex's shafts - I have a set I'm putting on this weekend, but just looking at them they look pretty beefy compared to the stock shafts.

I would guess they'll hold up just as good as any of the aforementioned shafts - and the price is good.
