As long as you are putting it up and down correctly, and installing the windows the way they are supposed to, I can see someone easily getting 10 years out of this thing.

Where it wears out is when people aren't careful with folding it down (causing wear on the corners, tearing, etc), or aren't careful with the windows and breaking the zippers. Also, if you ONLY have the soft top, then the weight of snow in the wintertime stretches the fabric over time and makes it flap at highway speeds. As long as you're in Texas with no snow, or somewhere else with the hard top in the winter, the soft top should last longer than you'll have the vehicle unless it's a lifer.

The pre-2010 softtops are also known for leaking. If I were in your shoes, I would probably forget the Mopar softtop and look to get a Bestop Trektop.

08 and 10 4-doors are the same. I think it is 11 that changed to some degree.
