i was thinging that the progressive coil system that Rough Country is offering would provide a nice ride......

Then again, I have no experience with them, I will say however, get a set of C load tires and they run soft

HELP!!!
KNTR, you are going to have to call all the dealers around you starting with the closest one of course. I bet you a million bucks AEV has one. They will probably charge you to change it but my dealer did it for free.

I think you are getting scangauge(dealer) with the programmer(aev, hypertech, etc). The scanguage(dealer) is the only thing that can change the TPMS. I meant AEV is a dealer and can probably use a scangauge to change his tpms.

The coils are the primary reason for ride quality. Shocks do add some level of comfort and so do tires. But Coils are the primary factor for ride quality. If they were not, then leafsprings could be made to be comfortable. The rusty's coils are 185 pounds per inch. Call the different manufactures and ask them that question. Progressive coils are great... if you can't get those, look for lower pounds per inch.

We dont have leafs because the ride sucks, that is why jeep went to 4 coils in 1997 with the redesign on TJ. Any springs you buy for the JK will be designed for the weight of the vehicle so they all should ride the same. That is why I listed them last.

Progressive rates are good for cars that corner and compress the spring then the secondary stiffens the ride for body roll conditions. On a Jeep they are worthless.

I agree, if you want a very soft, controlled ride, go with OME springs/shocks. I have the HD's and it is still soft, but the MD's are softer. The softest shocks i have ever used are easily Doetsch Tech (DT3000). They are by all accounts "soft", maybe too soft?, but if you want that "squishy" feeling, try a set of MD OME springs with Doetsch Tech DT3000's. BTW, they are one of the cheapest ($$) shocks too.

Looks like I am going to be rolling Full traction long arm with 4" FT coils, and OME LT shocks. How do you think that ride will be?

Will Nitto Mud Grapplers ride harsh? I have heard they are some of the roundest mud tires on the planet, are they too stiff though?
