First off let me say I'm new to the Jeep world. I just bought a 2012 Sahara with smitty built XRC bumper's. Can i just order a tire carrier and put it on my bumper or do i have to buy a bumper tire carrier combo?

It depends. Which carrier are you looking at? The Teraflex and Or-fab are stand alone units, and can be used with any bumper.

No. The ORFAB mounts to the body using a reinforcement hinge plate.

Is there a tire carrier i can buy that i can attach to my bumper so it Carries the weight? I'm sorry if I'm asking to many questions but your knowledge is greatly appreciated.
