Re: High Rock bumper.
Johnathan- I got the bumper a few years ago and it was about $700 at the time.
Bootman- there's no rotopax mount, there is a fire extinguisher; Hi-Lift, and shovel provision. Also comes with LED CHMST or you can use the stock CHMST. With a bit of fabrication work, I'm sure a rotopax mount can fit. Theres even a mount for a CB or flag high up on the rear tire. The swing arm rides on two sets of bearings that are serviceable. I really like Expedition One rear bumper but this is half the price.

I have a 2011 Wrangler and have both the front and rear bumper by Rock Slide Engineering. The rear bumper has the swing away spare tire carrier, that opens with the rear door. They are both super strong and look good, a little pricey but definitely worth it due to the quality.

Here's a pic of the working side of the High Rock carrier. On the bottom is the helm joint that keeps the swing arm and carrier together. The tailgate piece that the helm joint attaches to mounts with 4 bolts that held the stock drivers side tire carrier. So the stress is distributed to a large area. Then you see the swing arm, further up is right angle plate that's used for mounting a Hi-Lift. On top of that is a plate to hold a shovel. Then at the top of the vertical beam is a place for a CB antenna or flag. Inside of the wheel are plates to hold fire extinguishers. So using those mounting plates along with a fabbed rotopax mount, I'm sure you can design something that works.

And I just noticed the crapload of weights to balance 35 MTRk on 15" wheels.

Another vote for the TeraFlex tire carrier, $450 and stout as hell!!! You can add a jack and rotopac's later if you want...

Trail Duty: If you're still with us on this thread...you mind snapping a shot or two of your OR-Fab. I still love the OR-Fab my concern is compared to the rest does it support the weight well? Your thoughts TD?

BlackRock: Thanks again for the info. Man that looks good too. Your rig is sweet...

then again so are a lot of guys/girls on here so I appreciate the input and pics.

Decision was made today. Thanks for everyone's help. OR-Fab won out. Can't wait to get it and get that bad boy installed. Ill be running 315/75/16 General Grabber AT2s. Pics to come but may wait to install until after a trip in May.
