Up to you, where do you want your Caster?

The spec you will see for stock Caster is 4.2° +/- .5° (or, in the range of 3.7°- 4.7°) So you are bordering the low end of the stock spec now, which I assume is why the machine shows your Caster in the green instead of still in the red. But then, there is this...

Using the holes for a 2.5" lift raised Caster 1°. So if you go to the holes for a 3.5" lift, the caster should go up another 1° or so, right? And the holes for a 4.5" lift should raise caster about 2°.

My experience with low caster was flighty/wandering steering. I don't recall having a return-to-center issue, but that was 11 years ago or something like that so maybe I'm just not recalling it correctly.

I did some research on how to check what size lift you have. They say to measure your spring on the ground and anything over 9 3/8” is your lift. If this is correct I actually have a 3.5” lift and the shop put the wrong one one, but I’m not complaining.

It is not uncommon to get more than the advertised height out of coils. Doesn't mean you have 3.5" coils, just that your jeep ended up higher than you expected. My old 2" OME coils had me at 3.25", my current 3.5" MC coils had me over 4.5" at install. Add weight if you want to lose some height.

Swap to another hole if you want to raise the Caster. Add a rear trackbar bracket if you want to center that axle. Add a front adj trackbar if you want to center that axle. And not a bad idea to check your swaybar links, brakelines and bumpstops just so you know where you're at.

I’m goi g to move to the 3.5” hole, if that doesn’t work the only other thing I can think of is loosen the steer gear adjustment screw. My ball joints are good

So moved to 3.5 hole and made it much better but I decided to adjust my gear box screw. Noticed that the screw was vary tight and was flush with the top of the nut. I’ve seen videos of these screws and not one have I seen the adjustment screw flush with top of nut. Does this seem right?

That may be some of the problem with the sector shaft screw in the box. Adjusting those is usually a recipe for other trouble. Contrary to popular belief worm gear steering boxes are not adjustable. That screw is for factory or rebuilder setup and should be left alone forever by the owner. Try backing it out about 1/2 turn at a time and go for a drive. If it works and steering wheel has excess play then plan for a new or rebuilt steering box.
