Steering Shake
Changing the steering geometry isn't necessary for the lift you have. High steer kits, drop pitmans and drop trackbar brackets are usually used for lifts of 4" and up.
What you are describing is death wobble under the control of your SS until it blows out then you will feel the full blunt of the DW. Check your front trackbar torque specs, alignment(especially toe in) and maybe a road force balancing of the wheels.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

if your track bar is loose, this will give you DW.
I had bump steer and a rattling vibration felt through the wheel with each bump. I tightened my track bar to 135 ft. lbs and it is much better.
The best way to check your ball joints are to jack each front tire off the ground one at a time and put a pry bar or shovel under them.
Have someone push down on the shovel handle/pry bar while you watch the ball joints at the steering knuckle. If there is any movement and/or a clicking noise there, they are bad.

when going about 60 on the highway the steering shakes a bit too. and also i noticed that there is a metal rod just between the tires on the front, and when i grab that part and move it with my hand it moves fairly easily.
That metal rod is your tie rod. It should pivot up and down when you move it by hand but any side to side movement is bad.
and about the ball joint i still dont know which part you guys are talking about, sorry just dont know the vocabulary that well. know the part but not the vocab sorry. i was trying to look for the pic that WOL posted with all the names of components under the jeep but couldnt find it sorry,
i don't know, with just a 2.5" BB, i really doubt that what you are experiencing is bump steer and i certainly wouldn't install a track bar relocation bracket and dropped pitman arm or draglink flip kit. all the ones available on the market today are made for lifts of 4" or more and adding them would most likely make things worse for you.
having said that, have you checked your ball joints? i know there are a lot of people on here that have been burning through theirs in a hurry and that could be your problem as well.

WOL beat me to it
