A couple posts up Mike Davis said his Jeep seemed to have a rougher ride than he remembered after the dealer worked on it. He was asking if maybe the tire pressure caused the harsher ride.

Chill and have another beer.

Tire pressure can (and usually does on more flexible sidewalls) have a direct effect on ride harshness. But then, after 30 years in the automotive business, maybe I'm just not drunk enough.

OK. Seriously, here it is. Replace the stabilizer with a Perkins 2.0 unit. I think 4WD carries them. I like to bleed them before installing as I find they usually do a poor job of that at the factory. Drive your rig a few miles to allow it to break in properly and remove it again for a final air-check using the fluglebinder. Oh, and the pink ones generally do a better job of damping than the purple. Should be good to go.

Just curious...how much did your mpg's drop?

About 1. Maybe more. Riding on the 6 inch lift with 35s and bumpers. I knew mpgs was going to suck. But its totally worth it.
