Default steering stablizer

Can someone post up pictures of there stock steering stabilizer and measure from how far it it goes to the bracket thing. I need to know how far out to put the factory steering stab to put it back in the stock location

I am having trouble with my superlift steering stab and I am considering putting the stock one back on to see if it solves the problem

measure full compressed stroke, and full extended stroke, turn wheels full one way, check measure against the mentioned, and same with other direction, once you tighten up the bolts, rechech and make sure you are not bottoming out the stabilizer at full turn or over extending, if looks like bottoming out then slide the brackt...etc..there may be other ways, the first one i blew out was becasue i had adjusted two short so it would bottom out and blew out seals..

other folks may have some good ideas to

per the superlift instructions they said to pull out the stabilizer 16 3/4 inches and bolt it up, I have not blew anything with the stabilizer but the bolt that holds the stab on there is making marks on my track bars

As far as what you just said, pictures pictures, Im not good at the whole 'working' on my jeep thing yet. I mean I could try what you just said but chances are I would do it wrong and mess something up.

EDIT: The main reason I was wanting to relocate it was because it is binding with my track bar. No issues other than that... I did look at it today and tried to cock it around to where it would not hit and it appears it is going to be stress ful on the stabilizer .......as in its not meant to be cocked with the way the install brackets are made and the way they are going. Again, pictures would mean 1000000 words here if you can turn it till its out of the way of the stabilizer.

That Superlift steering stabilizer is the biggest piece of $h!t! I painted mine red as I hate white parts, plus the paint'll show if anything's bangin' around. Sure enough there's red paint on my drag link and my trackbar. I have a similar setup as yours and it's time for that to go! It's just too fat. I'm going now to order a Woods relocation bracket and a Fox stabilizer. I was hoping to wait until David decided to carry Fox, but it's getting too close to trail season around here.

Thanks for all those pictures, said a ton.

On mine, its hooked up with the super lift hardware the problem on mine occurs at the tie rod bracket bolt

Its making contact with the track bar, is yours?

EDIT: Maybe If I get the woods bracket it will allow me to move it away more from the tie rod?
