Stock tire carrier with 35" tire issues?
A lot of people dig the ace bumper/carrier but that thing is way to heavy for my taste. I hung a 35 off the stock carrier for 3 years and 70k miles. It's not too bad as long as you keep the from wiggling or vibrating by using extended isolators. I did wear out my hinges but it was just the bushings. I replaced them with heavy duty greasable hinges which seemed to cure my rattling.
Some have issues, some don't. Just keep your eye on it and you will be fine.
I'll be going with the tf hinge this time around. N

It's funny that you mention jerry cans and jacks, Ace started offering add on mounts for both, you just can't do both at once...I like the idea of the above holder, but with their being such a range of tire sizes it could be tricky making one that is adjustable enough...
My Yeti 45 quart cooler mounted above my 37's would probably stick up a good bit over the roofline!

Mine held up for about a year. I upgraded to OrFab tire carrier with Jerry cans.
My Jk is the red one, the bumper/tire carrier is $937 at Northridge with free shipping.
the MTR/K's 37/12.5/17 are almost $400 each.
losing 75% of your rear view, priceless...

Can decide what to do....damn these bumpers are expensive, just put 35's on my 2012 Sahara 4 door and that won't cheep, after installing 2.5" lift, wife's gonna kill me, can't do one bumper without doing the other, what to do....
