Heat's rig is badass. I've seen it in person and it is a beast. Current pics he recently back halved it.

Yup I'm on just about every jeep forum at this stage in my jeep's build pirate is where I spend most of my time.

I think the stereotypical jk owner who dumps tons of money into a rig and doesn't even know about their rig is ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to tear anyone down or single people out, but it seems too many people will pay an arm and a leg for the newest part. It's like buying the newest iPhone as soon as it comes out all for the sake of appearance.
I like custom builds because I like to think Jeeping isn't what it used to be. Build it, beat it, make it better.
I'm not even sure if I'm even making sense, so if not just ignore me as I ramble. Lol

No I understand what your saying in this post but it doesn't make sense if you relate it to your original post by calling people bolt on junkies. There is nothing wrong with bolt on components and a lot of the time it's a cheaper option then a custom build because most people don't need everything involved in a custom build or can't do the fab work to do it right so you have much higher labor costs. My bolt on solution cost me about $800 (it's a $2500 system) and I installed it myself because it is so simple to install. If I had built a custom solution it would cost the original cost of the bolt on just for the coilovers probably and then throwing in the cost of the rest of the parts and labor because I don't know how to fully do all the fab work, you can see bolt ok solutions meet more people's needs.

And by your other statement of build it, beat it, and make it better, your spending even more money on that custom setup but I guess you are learning your rig so it's got to count for something. Lol

Badass rig. What was your axle setup and lift height when you were running the 41s? Got any pics of it back then?
