I bought them from a local place here in Jax. Easiest ever to do- I spent more time doing the measurements than to cut and install them. Less than 30 minutes

There aren't any rocks near my area and I prefer the stubby, just looks better to me. The real question is; which do YOU like?

If you're at all considering going flat flares then a stubby or mid is what you want. There aren't too many after market flares that look good with a full bumper because the way most are cut at an angle in the front. In fact what jaker has done by cutting his own is probably the best match for a full width bumber I've seen.

Like everyone posted - it depends on how you wheel and most importantly, your preference of course. I got my stubby for $230 shipped. Probably one of the best, cheapest mods to date on my rig - I'm extremely pleased with the quality and price.
