The advanced trans tune will lock you out from stacking shifts, such as a 2-3 upshift overlapping a 3-2 downshift. You'll also be able to avoid some of the point of no return downshifts where things hit pretty hard, kicking into a lower gear at lower rpms. You can certainly do some things that I would say are questionable, but none any worse than having larger tires without recalibration. Definitely powerful stuff and the spreadsheets I built out to give people a visual representation of what's going on helps a ton in avoiding any gear hunting issues or quickly addressing the issue.

So no long term problems and definite gains. Where can see the chart you created.
Thanks

Send me a PM with your email address and I'll send it out to you.

Won't happen until this weekend as I'm down in Texas for the week.

I was completely pumped with the changes in drive-ability that I felt after the 87 tune. I got the flashpaq mostly to calibrate my speedometer and wasn't expecting the gains that I got in driving fun. Like another poster said, I don't have to shut the OD off like I used to before and it definitely holds it's speed MUCH better going up hills.

So, it didn't turn my Jeep into a rocket on wheels, but I didn't expect it to. I'm VERY happy I bought it and have no regrets at all!.

Changed yesterday to a 91 tow tune, pretty pleased with it......

I noticed though that if you choose the tune and additional settings (gearing, tire size) but you go back to the power tune you need to redo your additional settings again otherwise no additional settings are saved, by chance I checked an the original values were still there........ to way to do it is choose our power tune (save & exit) followed by set additional values (save & exit)........ sorry digressing a bit.

91 tow tune is great !!!
