nevermind on the question about adjust speedometer. found info on the bully dog at truck customizers.com. they also have free shipping on it!

Tuning Levels on the 3.8L Wrangler JK

•OFFROAD TUNE - 11.5 HP, 15.3 TQ,
Engine Fan turns on High Speed at 200° F Coolant Temp Level. The off road tune is very similar to the Reg/ Tow Tune power wise. However, to make the tune more effective off road the throttle sensitivity has changed up. Our throttle mapping is less sensitive than OEM tuning at lower throttle % engagement to give off-roaders more control over the actual power that they put to the ground.

•REGULAR / TOWING TUNE - 11.5 HP, 15.3 TQ,
Engine Fan turns on High Speed at 205° F Coolant Temp Level. This tune is great for everyday driving and towing use. Meant for use with regular octane pump gas but any OEM approved fuel will work.

•PREMIUM / SPEED TUNE - 15+ HP, 20+ TQ,
Engine Fan turns on High Speed at 205° F Coolant Temp Level. This tune is meant to maximize your potential horsepower. A minimum of 91 octane gasoline is required to avoid risk of engine damage.

Download Features:
features only available by downloading
•Speed Limiter: Adjust from 45mph to 200mph.
•Rev Limiter in Drive: Adjust from 5000 rpm to 6500 rpm.
•Rev Limiter in Neutral: Adjust from 5000 rpm to 5700 rpm.
•Transmission shift point: Modify shift points at Wide Open Throttle on an automatic.
•Calibrate Speedometer: Adjust from a tire size of 23.2" up to 45.5".

Special Features:
These features can be used with or without installing a download.
•Engine Fan: Turn the engine fan on or off.
•IDLE Up: Change engine idle when in park or neutral.
•TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system): Air down to under 10 PSI without a light.
•Disable Traction Control: Completely disable traction control, great for off road.
•Sway Bar Disconnect: (Rubicon only) Disconnect the sway bar up to 30 mph automatically, there is no physical installation required.
•Lockers: (Rubicon only) Engage lockers in 2wd 4wHi and 4wLow, this feature is recommended for those who know how lockers work.

I had thought about the vivid but I only saw and heard that it was going to be in the 600 range and the size of my droid x the bully dog is smaller and fits perfectly on top of the steering column and I can still see it fine and the cluster...this morning I found a setting to display what gear I'm in and if the torque convertor is locked or not

This is VERY interesting! I was days away from pulling the trigger on a flashpaq. Back to the drawing board it seems.

On BDs website they show a A-pillar mount, that would be cool. After reading their PDF, it sounds like something I will buy...

I e-mailed them about mounting options...

I guess I'm retarded. I'm on my iPod and can't seem to find their site. Mind linking the home page?

edit:
Nevermind, found it on PC. The flash site just didn't like Apple. I see the GT Tuner, but it aint no 300 bucks, it shows $469 there... Guess i need to browse the site some more.

Bullydog can automatically engage and disengage the rubicon sway bar at 35 mph.

Super chip programmer is about 45 cheaper.

Vivid is brand new and more expensive. It can be used as a gps and can monitor and modify performance in real time.

I bought the super chip non vivid model.

I e-mailed BD's website to see what "in vehicle" mounting is avaiable.

Here's what i got back...

The GT comes with a suction cup window mount, there is a adapter also
that will fit in any 2 1/16" gauge pod so any normal gauge pod for your
application it will fit into.
Cool...
