I have been on this website for some time now and find allot of valuable information. The thing that irritates me more than anything is the bickering and name calling. I would hope that we all are GROW-ups and out of the school yard stuff by now.
Personally I like Cameron1022 post and agree that he is looking for specific information. He may have been a little inpatient waiting for responses which lead to Nthinuf's post. On his point it is not that we are lazy and don't feel like reading it is just that for myself I don't want to spend all day reading a post for a specific amount of information. I rather be wrenching on my Jeep or better yet on the trail somewhere. With that said I would like to hope that people will read this and think twice about firing off none productive comments. Just simply answer the mans question or move on.
Just my opinion. It just very time consuming going through all the negative crap when we could be a better class of people and be more of a positive example to our children and our community.

Just my thoughts

I agree /\ /\ /\ I just want info., but it does show there are definitely age differences. With age comes wisdom.

I do have to admit, I see some of these threads and I don't want to read through 154 pages. I don't want to be on the computer that long sometimes.

I have found this thread useful. I plan on bumping up my tune to the 91 from the 87 I've been running.

Default superchip performance

I have had the superchip for two months and am presently running in the performance mode at 93 octane. My Sahara was so sick I now feel like I am in a race car. I dont worry too much about mpg as long as i can get some power.

Anyone know what settings are different with the tow tune vs. the 87/91/93?

BUMP! Does anyone know the answer to this? JPop?

I have a question about the Superchips Flashpaq downloads from the website. Everytime you do a update to the programmer does the company tweak certain things to peak the performance compared to the last update? I mean what does staying with current downloads/updates do? This may have been asked before in the 150+ pages, that's alot to read..
Thanks, fwbb

More timing advance with a slower burning fuel will enable more power per stroke. With 3 of the 4 strokes being parasitic, getting a longer power stroke will increase fuel mileage.
Will try the next tank of fuel. Thanks J POP !

Ahhh man, bad move combining this thread to the initial impressions thread...not even the same discussion! Now there are 155 pages to read through! haha. What's the point seriously? Combining a bunch of info together into one mega thread isn't helping anyone out, imo.

Anyway, sorry to everyone about the name calling, lol. First bad experience with a user on here...most of you are classy people who enjoy helping fellow Jeepers. Guess some people don't feel the same way.

I agree. I spent a couple hours trying to summarize the initial thread and that wasn't an easy task let alone trying to read through it to find specific information.

i am on day 4 with no superchips installed still no pinging... debating on getting rid of it... i lived without it before, and the computer is showing better gas mileage... the major plus of the superchips was the tranny tuning however with the k&n panel filter and the mbrp exhaust i dont know if i really netted much....
