Teraflex Big Brake kit
I was wondering the exact same thing. I have 15" Cragar Soft 8s on top of 1/4" spacers...Stock calipers barely clear. How much larger than stock are the big brakes in the TF kit??
I would love to have this done eventually but, not if it means replacing my wheels at time of install.
I just ordered the big brake kit and the master cylinder for my 2012 today.
I ALMOST totaled my Jeep a few days ago. I was going down I-95 65MPH (the speed limit) when some old man pulled out from the shoulder about 250 feet in front of me. i STOOD on the brakes and the whole Jeep started going left to right and almost flipped it. Luckily I was able to hurry and go around the knucklehead on the shoulder and pass him. It was the scariest thing ever. I just did A LOT of research on this and the Tera Flex kit seems the best for the money.

Teraflex - I also installed the 26" Steel Braided Brake Line set with this brake kit and have one question... How am I supposed to secure these brake lines to the hard line along the frame ? The factory line fitting is welded to a bracket along the frame but these new TF lines have no bracket to secure them. For the time being I zip-tied it to the factory front bracket but am hoping that's a temporary solution.

Installed big brake kit with HD master cylinder from TF over the weekend. Kit looks great, but now I do have a very soft brake pedal which I didn't have before? Brake pedal is so spongy now, that if I press brake pedal and push on it for few secs it will go down to the floor? I did bleed the lines and master cylinder 3x and still same spongy feeling at brake pedal. Took it today to a local brake shop spent $80 to do bleeding on the machine and still very soft? I've no idea what else should I try? Any suggestions? I called TF today and they told me brake pedal will get harder after some times, but I don't see how it will be better after 500miles? I'll drive it and test it for few hundred miles and hope it will go better.OK so now it's 600miles later and brake pedal is still spongy???

dealer can activate the ABS module and perform bleed if you got air in the ABS module while doing the master cylinder
[QUOTsE=TeraFlex;2301769]Simple, the rears are not out yet but are coming, no eta yet. Some years benefit better from the HD Master Cylinder.
From our website:
| TeraFlex Suspensions
****The Heavy Duty Master Cylinder Part# is 4303450 is required for JK model years 2007,2008 and 2011 applications. 2009 and 2010 models do not require the Heavy Duty Master Cylinder 4303450 but will benefit from its use. ****
Slotted vs. solid, some like the looks of the slotted, some don't. Yes the slotted should cool down faster but can also go through pads faster.[/QUOTE]
So it's almost 3 years later, don't see any rear rotors from Teraflex. Not bitching, as anyone that knows how brakes work knows the front brakes do most of the work. I do intend to buy the Teraflex big brake kit but I find it disingenuous to say a rear brake kit is coming when 3 years later there is nothing on the Treaflex site.

Hey Jeep people, I just ordered this setup after looking at $1,400 Hawk 3 Piston. Seemed like more bang for the buck. So, Is the rotor actually bigger or is it just a bigger caliper with bigger dia pistons?
