Default Teraflex hinged carrier or?

I can't decide which to go with. The teraflex or a bumper w/carrier. I've heard nothing but good things about the teraflex but not sure how it will be for the long run since its so new. Also looking at expedition 1 carrier. But that means will have to have it sprayed which will take it up to $1400. So dilemma is $625 or the $1400. I don't really do much wheeling just deed it to carry spare. Thanks in advance

I went teraflex and couldn't be happier. Easy install and looks great. I can open my gate just like before unlike the bumper mounted carriers. And if you decide to change bumpers later it still works. It really is a solid carrier, very heavy duty. So that's my vote. Good luck on whatever you decide!

I'm running the TF hinge and OE carrier. Works awesome for my 35's.

If/when I go with bigger tires the teraflex would be on my shortlist. The ACE pro series rear bumper would also be tempting for 885. Seems very competitively priced. Swings with the gate, 1/4" construction, cutouts for rear LEDs if you wanted to spring for them, looks good too. Only negative I see with it is the weight..190lbs...guess that's the price you pay for all the beef.

Just put the Teraflex carrier on and love it. I'm running no bumper with the EVO rear d-ring mounts on the way.
