Or do i have to run wheel adaptors
JK07, I tried to answer your PM about the other questions you had concerning the axles but your inbox is full, too many messages. So below is my response about the DTD:

I am using 1350 shafts, both front and rear and 1350 yokes on the pinion. As far as the EVO DTD set up, one of the best things about it is that Mel Wade did a quite a bit of research and testing with King Shocks to get the tune just perfect. The 3 stage/triple by-pass shocks are set for low speed rock crawling and allow high speed runs thru the bumps without letting the JK get out of shape. You can always do some fine tuning for the shocks to react softer are harder (both rebound and compression) at different speeds to suit your driving or terrain. I do mostly rock crawling, but I really enjoy the occasional high speed runs out in the desert and the system has only been tweaked a minimal amount from the settings that Offroad Evolution originally had it at. I think I took 1/4 turn out of my first stage of compression on all four corners to give me a little better ride around town. Definitely work with Mel (over the phone or internet) on getting it dialed in. The King Shocks are by far the best shocks I have ever run on any rig. The spring rates for the upper and lower coils are also spec'd by EVO for the JK, I am not really sure what the rates are for either one. I am sure Mel or Andrew could definitely give you the answer. Good luck with all the purchases and the installs. I would love to see some photos when you are done. Make sure to post up any pics of the build in a thread.

So how do you adjust the tunes by taking them off or you have adjustable shocks. Thats the only thing which scaresme of tunning complexity around coilovers.

Also i thought EVO offers tunes for baja, rock crawlng and street as well.

There are so many factors that despite the same looks every jeep is different so there is no one standard tune.

The tuning that I am speaking of deals only with the By-Pass Shocks. The By-Pass Shocks have a small allen screw, held in place by a nylock nut, for each one of the by-pass tubes (in the case of mine, there are three) By making a positive or negative adjustment on a rebound tube or a compression tube you can make the shock behave accordingly at different speeds (see photo of King 4 way By-Pass shocks below) As for the changing of spring coils to adjust for a softer or firmer ride, well like you stated, you need to remove the entire shock and then remove the coils.

I am sure Offroad Evo can guide you to a specific tune that is set up for one environment/driving style over the other, but the EVO Spec'd Kings that come with the Double Throwdown system is probably the BEST thing going for a daily driver and all offroad circumstances. Thats why when people ask Offroad Evolution "what do you mean by EVO Spec'd Dynatrac or Kings, etc" It means that EVO has worked intimately with the Manufacturer to get a part/system/component that works specifically for the JK's intended purpose
