Those with D60's
I definitely recommend you get an 08 to 2010 rear sterling. The issue with an older sterling will be with the rear wheel sensor. With an 08 or newer, you get to keep most everything. You just have to replace your hanger (which seats the sensor) and add a tone ring ($10) or replace your hub with a newer one that comes with the tone ring.
He's talking about the hanger the brake caliper mounts to. It's actually on the 2011+ axles, but it's a cutout of you wanted to try and run the factory sensor setup (ford factory). Far easier now to use the artec kit as it will also place the sensor where it needs to be and let's you reuse the jk sensor.
Also axle shaft bolt pattern and actual rim bolt patterns are different. The 8x3.523 is the full float axle shafts bolts. Rim can still be 8x6.5
Many guys over there that have built one or are in process. Reply to that thread with questions and you'll get plenty of insight from others.
I wrote up a fairly inclusive thread on JKO for the D60 front: 2005+ Super Duty D60 Axle Bible - JKowners.com : Jeep Wrangler JK Forum

My experience with 12+ speed sensors. Jeep is a 2013 2 door auto
1 speed sensor will make the speedo work.
3 speed sensors will make the auto tranny shift and removes CEL
4 is obviously ideal
Right now I only have 3, have not gotten a chance to finish the 4th. Been too busy wheeling. Not having that 4th has been annoying. Occasionally at 25-30mph one of the sensors will drop out and cause limp mode, which really sucks when you are on 5.38's. Slows down real quick.
I have been using the autostick feature and keeping it in 1st or 1st and 2nd, and it does great on the trails.
