When i bought my airaid cai they had a promo on which gave me the throttle body spacer for free. I love the sound of the airaid and i actually like the sound of the whistle. I'm not sure if it helped anything. The sound gives you a good feeling when you're driving it. Good enough for me. I wouldn't have the spacer if it wasn't free.

Just for the record....its physically IMPOSSIBLE for a throttle body spacer to do what it claims it does in ads, it goes in the wrong place for what they say is occurring. On a carburetor equipped rig, its at least possible, but NEVER POSSIBLE for example on a multiport fuel injected engine.

The sale of them for our engines should be considered FRAUD....especially considering the wild claims for performance improvements, etc.

Introducing more turbulent air into the manifold will increase low end throttle response even on a port injected engine. Any benefits are surely largely used up by 1200 rpm and totally gone by 1500 rpm.

No it isn't going to increase your gas mileage.

No it isn't going to add torque.

No it isn't going to add horsepower.

What it will do is cost you dollars beyond its value.
