That's awesome. Ever get any trouble with cops? Can you see a night?

Nope no hassle at all and can see perfectly fine at night. I think the tint strip at top gives the illusion that the window isn't tinted.

In my area they jump on full windshield tint like dogs on a three legged cat. Guys still do it and someone I know was pitching a fit because it has cost him $300 in two months. He still hasn't taken it off. We are starting a pool to see how long it will take lol.

Default Driving at night

Just a hint to see what it is like at night. Buy a pair of Sunglasses with the tint you are thinking about and then drive with them on at night. It will give you the answer you want

That's not accurate. Tint on a windshield is on a big open area and with sunglasses that is up close area over your eyes. If you look through glasses in a side window without tint, you are not goin to get the same view looking out a side window without glasses with tint.

It will cause major glare problems at night and make it hard to see if you are talking about doing the entire windshield. Dangerous and bad move IMO...

Default Advise from a professional!

I work at a tint shop and 50% is the most that you would want to go. Anything darker looks bad when you're doorless and topless. Darker also makes it harder to see at night and can be dangerous. We have done 35% and 20% on Jeep windshields and I don't like it at all!!

If you do it no darker than 50% IMHO.

Same here! I'll never have another vehicle without it. No glare or any problems at night. You really can't tell it's on there if you're just looking at the windshield. If it doesn't rain today I'll drop the top and pull the doors off and get some pics.

Tinted my windshield 50% with the help of 1978cj. The strip definitely gives the illusion that it's not tinted. I love having no glare!

Second set of pics are higher quality. Settings on my phone were reset...
