Looks awesome and I did it Friday.
Saturday-tinted windshield ticket in Seaside. Sunday-pulled over by CHP on 101. Showed them my ticket from the day before and explained I'd fix it Monday. ...,Got a "defective windshield, must be fixed in 48 hours" ticket instead.....smh, not in Cali

 

What percent did you do on the windshield?

Here's mine , just top strip in 5% ...... I never really thought of it or really payed it much attention till mentioned here .... But with everything off I'm not too sure about it now ! Lol ... But I'm usually closed up
( sadly ;( nowhere to put hardtop)
Now next time I strip it down I'm going to be staring at it & In debate ! Thanks guys ! Lol

 

All windshields have safety film in them between two layers of glass. With and without tint they do the same thing. When we take off a windshield to do an extraction it comes out mostly in one large sheet even though its shattered.

 

Holy crap? Did you do 35% or something because 50 isn't all that noticeable..

 

Ya, 35%. If you're gonna tint it, Tint it!! Lol. Won't do it again. Was a huge pain in the ass to clean all the adhesive off the windshield
