Default Too Much Caster??

Can someone tell me the negatives of having too much Caster. I messured my Caster with an Angle finder and I'm sitting at 9 degrees. I dont seem to have any vibration or anything. Is this Dangerous? I tried searching but I didn't find anything on it.

Do you still have your stock front shaft?

I would say driveline failure and maybe some handling issues. How large of a lift do you have?

How is it handling? Did you have adjustable control arms?

why would you want 9* of caster? I would think steering would feel kinda fast and heavy. Won't that also cause issues with tire wear since toe is not set for the axle being rotated back that far?

I have the adjustable TF lowers. It is honestly handling better now then it was with the skyjacker lowers. I just followed the recommend measurments for a 4" lift. I didnt purposly set the caster to 9 degrees. I just bought the angle finder today and thats what I found.

Take it from personal experience. 9* of caster makes the steering heavy but the speed was about the same. When you let go of the wheel, it would snap back into place.

I think you have had to learn more about toe/caster/camber/ etc. way more than you ever wanted to know.
