It helps a lot.
I have a cordless and one for the tank as well.
I like to have a pitman arm puller (if needed)
I also like redundancy. I have two 3.5 ton floor jacks, 1 2 ton floor jack and 6 or maybe 8 3 ton jack stands.
Having that extra floor jack just helps... borrow one from a buddy.

Those stands might be on the small side. Always get more stand than you think you need. I'll take pics of the ones I use when I get home tonight. From northern tool.

For the price of that set, it's worth it to me to buy the set, anyway.....I always have use for that stuff

Edit: I'm referring to the pictured sears set

I've got those stands and that jack and they have worked well so far. I still need to change out my springs for some rubi ones I bought, but they worked for a tire rotation. Good luck, from what I hear/read it is a good project for a newbie.

Make sure the hydraulic jack extends tall enough. That was my only issue with putting on a leveling kit. It's a 2.5 ton bought from advanced auto parts. Don't know the ravel off hand.

Yeah I got the 3/8 drive, although for the price I should go back and get the 1/2 drive also before the sale is over

You think that'd be enough. If so I'll go get that on line today. Or may just go to sears tomorrow.

Yes definitely , the stands are 3ton the jack is 4ton craftsman professional series. I already had a few other sets of jack stands. These were also the highest jacking they had in the store. I think the jack goes like 22 1/2 same with the stands.
