That won't fix it all that does is put a mask on it. You should also report it.

a steering shock is like putting a lil buterfly band aid on a gushing wound. its not fixing the issue.
DW comes from loose track bar bolts, brackets, and worn suspension components, not a SS. if your suspension is dialed in correctly u should have no need to run a SS.

also planman said the factory bolts for the track bars are a tad smaller than the holes.
have u guys done his checklist for DW????

I had death wobble a few days after I installed my Rock Krawler 4 in. It turned out to be a loose top bolt on the track bar. A great test is to turn the wheel left and right. If the front of the jeep moves a little before the wheels turn that is the problem. At least that's how I found mine. That's after a $300 fox ss, and a few tries at alignment. Just a thought that helped me.

Well that didn't fix it like you guys said. Took the mechanic for a ride and I guess he has never felt it before cause he was grabbing for the dash when the DW started. Now they are checking the track bar and other suspension parts. The thing only has 23,500 miles on it!

They said the track bar was tight and the ball joints looked good so they ordered all new shocks for it?????? I guess they are just guessing now All I have are 1.75 pucks in the front and the .75 in the rear with no other mods and having this issue already hope they fix it planning on a vacation to Colorado this summer and don't want to drive DW's.

They replaced my SS today saying that they had an issue with them and replaced it with a larger one. As long as they cover everything under warranty I guess they can have at it

I had mine replaced under warrantee as the original one was leaking. It is a little bigger - the same as the ones they started putting on the '09s. I hate the new bracket on the tie rod and switched it back to the stock one.
