Totally agree with Denny, it is an amazing lft. Even though the price has went up at Quadratec, it is still worth the price. I did not have to buy anything additional other than gearing, but that was due to my 37s.

Did you guys install zerk fittings on the control arms? I know they're graphite impregnated, but is any maintenance required on them?

About every 5,000 miles or so, take off the cap screws and put a few drops of 3-in-1 oil in them. Grease isn't recommended for these particular joints.

You will also need a ball end allen wrench to get to the cap screws on the axle side.

I only had metric ball end wrenches and had to use a 4.5. It was loose in the screw, but a 5 was too big. So looking at a conversion chart, I would say to get a 3/16" allen wrench.

Fellas, glad to hear the great success with Trail Master! I have the great oppurtunity to wheel with them. Checkout the video in the Phoenix JK's group page. Their new long arm is like no other long arm. It should be a hit! I know what my next lift will be!!!

Well, I've had this lift for over a year now and thought I'd do a little follow up. The ride is still great and I haven't had any trouble from any of the parts. I took measurements immediately after installation, a couple months after install and again today. After initial settling of about 1/4", the coils have not changed a bit. The height today is about 1/8" less than after initial settling, but I think that's mainly due to tire wear since I've put about 12K miles on them over the past year. About the only thing I can say is that some of the bolts will loosen up, so keep an eye on them, but this is true of any lift kit. Also, as a part of regular maintenance, it's recommended to add a few drops of 3-in-1 oil to the flex joints. I would add that in addition to oiling the flex joints, make it a point to grease the drive shafts at the same interval.

Here's a few recent pics of my jeep along with some action shots.

While in my jeep, it was sitting so level I didn't realize how much the front axle had drooped in the next two pictures.
