There is nothing special or unique with the gears we sell like pig said they are the same as you would get from everybody else.

David,

I will email you with pic that I have which is the one that I posted plus I have another one. The damage is in just that one area. However when I rolled back down the hill it popped again.

As far as modifications to the Jeep, there are NONE to the motor. Just a lift with 35's and a set of 5.13's that are now busted in the front. This is my daily driver, so when we went out "wheeling" I was taking it easy for the fact that I had to drive an hour and half home. So in my opinion I was being easy and gentle trying to avoid what happend but then again putting a lift on a vehicle with bigger tires is "being hard on it" compared to stock form.

No matter what happens I am going to a different installer. I called 4wheel parts here locally but they wont install anything that they dont sell. I really didn't want to use them anyways b/c I'm not a big fan. There is absolutley NO customer service. SO with that said I'm still in the market for an installer. So if anyone knows of a good place here in Indianapolis with a reputation of good work to install a set of 5.13's. Let me know

Thanks

After 2500 miles you should be able to see a wear pattern on the ring gear and be able to tell if they were installed properly or not.

I've ran my 5.13s in both my JK's, (same gear set, installed twice) and have not had a single issue. The gears probley have 40,000 miles combined
Thanx for the info. I didn't know that and am gonna go ahead with my plans to buy the gears from northtidge. I just gotta use new jerseys most expensive 4 x 4 shop that charges $ 500 per axle to install the gears. I wish I lived out west. I think I'll put " I wish I lived out west !" in my signature.

Not sure I wish I lived out west, but wish I could find a great deal on the east coast like I hear about on the other side.
