I like this top. Even tho I have the OEM soft top, brand new, I never took it out of the boxes. I had a Viking Fastback soft top on my TJ and loved it, so was glad when Bestop came up with something close. I like running the safari top in the summer, with the windows stashed in a cloverpatch. Then if there is rain while Im tooling about, just pull under an underpass, put the windows in, and good to go.

As far as installing goes: I would wait till its warm out. I did and it was still a bugger. Follow the directions on putting the windows in. You only want to barely start the zippers...and dont click the front part down to the windshield until the windows are all the way zipped in and clicked in.

Good luck.

Now I have a brand new OEM soft top to sell, that I never mounted.

I just put my new Trektop NX on today. It wasn't that bad until I got to the two windshield paddle latches. Woo! That was something else. I ended up having to loosen the two bars on the windshield, forcing the latch on, tightening the bars back, THEN closing the paddles. It was about 85-90 degrees out, and it still was that tough! I'll leave it latched for a few days in hopes it will stretch a bit. It would be a pain to do that every time.
And yes, it is definitely a very tight fit. Zero wind noise at 80mph on the highway.

Thanks. No other photos yet.
Only complaint so far is the tailgate bar. It isn't designed to be removed the same way as the factory soft top tailgate bar... In fact, I'm not sure it's designed to be removed at all. It is all one piece, whereas the OEM tailgate bar is 3 pieces.
As much as I'm in and out of the tailgate, I went ahead and ordered a Mopar tailgate bar and brackets.

To those that have a Trektop NX... Do I need to remove the rear brackets before I put my hardtop back on?

On the nx all the rear windows zip out where as the regular trektop windows don't remove
