While connected, they bent during fairly normal use in the threaded area of the disconnect.

Also, while headed up to go wheeling for a weekend, a cotter pin popped and the JKS drove into the inside of the wheel. Luckily I caught it right away before it did any damage.

I'm sure I was just a bit unlucky with my JKS; but I have high hopes for the Currie.

Can you explain why this is better than manual disconnects coupled with electrical tape and a zip tie?
