Yeah.. the Jeep have what is called a central locking system... which means when it is locked by the key fob that the lock/unlock buttons on the door will not work. You can manually unlock them, obviously. You can also pull that little vent off the tailgate and unlock that without the key too... but the tuffy enclosure prevents access to the back area... so it should be pretty secure. They make a good product too, so I would go with it if you can. It is on my list for sure. Good luck on your quest!
