Aside from being a little faster and in color the only difference I researched with the new one was you can set your TPMS parameters. Mine you can only turn them off or on. I called Superchips to see if I could upgrade mine to get this feature and they said no I would have to buy the new one. I then asked about a trade in for mine and they only give you like $90 for it towards the new one. I think this is gouging their customers making us pay for a new one and not updating our current ones. You should only have to buy a tuner once. I went back and forth with one of their reps. about this and he brushed me off saying that's the price and they have to make money off them. This is the 4th tuner I purchased from them and will be the last. Poor customer relations.

 

Damn guy said I can take it for $80 but plugged it in and what would you know was still paired to his jeep. Since he sold the jeep I told him well thanks anyhow. He was like oh no how do I untune which I in turn said good luck you might be able to get super tunes to unlock it for a price. I'll keep looking or maybe buy a new one later on.

 

SC will charge $100 to unlock it. So unless he gives it to you, likely not worth it.

 

Yea I told the guy it would cost him. He seemed pretty clueless and not really trying to scam me. So idk good luck to him maybe he can contact owner of his old jeep ask to plug it in and remove the tuber from jeep then try to sell it.
