I'm definately going to test drive both before I decide. Any volunteers here in Texas? Especially, the supercharger. I'm pretty sure that it will be easy to test a hemi with Screamin Lizard 15 minutes down the road .

Well, having a Hemi in my truck, let's just say I'm glad Screamin Lizard is 20 hours away.

Come to think of it, your jeep is probably only a couple hundred pounds away from what my truck weighs, 4x4 Quad Cab at somewhere around 5700lbs and I couldn't even contemplate what it would be like to drive it with the 3.8 in there.

I'd still take issue with having raised the COG so much, because as it sits it's an awesome trail rig but I'm sure it's a bit of a bummer as an on road vehicle.

Twisting the crap out out of the 3.8 would be at least my interim fix while saving my nickels for what a Hemi swap would cost and I'd check into the availability of 5.38+ gears. That will for sure get you 6th gear back.
