Exactly....

I don't get you guys when you make arbitrary comments to the effect that life begins with 35" tires...
I had the 2.5 BB with 33s, had a blast on a ton of trails and kept them on until I wore them out on my daily driver. I wish I had gone with 35 because I rubbed my undercarriage so often, that one inch would have made a big difference. With an unlimited, the wheel base is so long that you need larger tires to clear what a 2 door would with smaller tires. I was being conservative when I chose the 33s, and I regretted the decision. If you don't really wheel, 33s are just fine. When I read posts, everyone plans to go bigger when they get new tires, so I don't think it's just me.
Also,
I have an auto rubi, with 410s and don't feel the gearing is much different than the 33s.
Had a blast with the 33s and more fun and peace of mind with the 35s when wheeling.

When my Rubicon's stock 32" M/Ts wear out, I'm going with 33s. I'm going to put a leveling kit and wheel spacers and keep the stock wheels (I like them). I'll use the money I would have spent on a lifting an 35s to replace that terrible front bumper.

Plus, with the 33s 6 speed, and 4.10s it will still be drivable without needing to re-gear. No way I'd be happy with 35s and stock gears. Especially, not with moving to CO next month.

I was going through the same thing 33's, 35's, 33's, 33'5, 33's, 35's 33's, 35's, 33's, 35's, 33's,35's . So I split the difference and went with some 34 KM2's.
