vibration/wobble...help needed
I have the same problem at around 55-65 mph.... sometimes its there sometimes its not.... smetimes its really felt throught the steering wheel other times its subtle. Ive tried diffrent toe settings, diffrent caster angles and have checked all compnents with no avail. I rack it up to the wheels and tires since when i rotate its not nearly as bad and ive just had them rebalanced again. My next route is to try these http://www.innovativebalancing.com/index.php since my buddy is using them with no problems whatsoever. Good luck
as far as i know there is no audible noise.... especially with mud terrian tire and or and exhaust if you have one. As far as feeling a driveshaft vibration in the steering wheel in my opinion it is 2 totally diffrent feelings, the driveshaft is a very fast oscillating feeling like a vibration on a cell phone, a tire wobble vibration is more of a "slower" wobbling kind of feeling. Hope this helps

yeah there really should be no movement in the tire from side to side. It could be a bad batch of tires or the rims themselves. Idk if anyone mentioned this "most likley" but if you have your stock wheels and tires put those on and see what happens. If it goes away then you found your problem

strange that they would be fine for stock rims and not for aftermarket...is it the size of the tire that makes it wobble with them? why even have them in the first place.....anyone got some tech answer for this?

The stock wheels are built with openings around the lugs to fit over the clips.
They absolutely must be removed to run wheel spacers or anything other than stock wheels.
They prevent aftermarket wheels from sitting flush on the disc. Because they are not on every lug, they will eventually damage your aftermarket wheels if not removed. The wobbles from failing to remove them are the least of your worries. Ruined wheels are a bigger problem.
