I believe the way you are supposed to trim the top of the snorkel doesnt allow for you to run both but I know someone has both

You need the extra length of the tube for the water removal feature to work properly on the snorkel. You can chooce not to tri the body. If you go this route then your filter top will just stick up about 3" higher.

I was told you can buy both tops seperately. However the instructions clearly state to trim the tube if you're running the pre-filter. I was planning on ordering the pre-filter just incase we go somewhere where it would be more beneficial to run it rather then the Ram Air top. Quadratec sells the Ram Air top seperately for $60

noooo no thank you i saw the volant but umm i wouldnt pay more than what a riverraider is worth for a wannabe AEV plus i agree with the guys its definitely opps sorry i was saying..

Go with the AEV. The RR looks terrible, in my opinion.
Plus, I'd rather cut a hole in the hood than in the fender.

Just talked to AEV..... both tops are available seperately for $59.99 each. It's important not to trim the snorkel if you wish to run either top.
