I also did test with 1 or both stabs removed and no difference.

Here's a pic of my steering geometry, does look like the track bar is lower than the drag-link.

I did adjust the track bar to correct the 1/2" and recentered the steering wheel. (I did remove the track bar bracket and drop pitman arm and replaced them with the adjustable track bar).

After the alignment, I had the tires rotated but no change.

I created a video to show how the steering wheel returns to center but in steps (if that makes sense) but I don't think the site will let me put up a 50mb video.

Collyn, you saying that I should put back the drop pitman arm? It seems as though it would align everything right because a flip kit looks like it would raise the drag link too high on the passenger side.
Best case scenario would be to use the track bar bracket to raise the track bar, the use the drag link flip kit WITHOUT the dropped pitman arm. This would give you the best working geometry for the parts that you have. The the idea is to have the drag link and the track bar as parallel to each other as possible and to have the drag link/track bar pair as horizontal as possible. Simply having the the parts parallel , but at a steep angle, isn't going to fix all the steering issues. The idea is to have them as horizontal as possible too. This way the suspension doesn't interact with the steering, or at least doesn't cause it to not want to center.

This is where you are losing me. All of what steering issues? He says it tracks straight and drives fine. The only issue is the steering not returning to center after a turn. (I am currently at 4" with no high steer/flip/bracket/drop pitman, and the only time my steering has not self centered was when I knocked the toe out.) Would more caster be an improvement? Sure. Would a high steer/flip to flatten the angles be an improvement? Sure. Are either the cause? Don't know.

Just saying I would investigate further before throwing money at a flip.

Don't know it "its the cure" either. I only know that correct steering geometry is NOT GOING TO CAUSE a problem. Will it fix it? Maybe. Could be something entirely different causing the issue. Could be a bad tire for all I know. I am only stating the obvious for those that don't already know it. Haha.

You can't drop the pitman without dropping the Track bar as well.
Not the recommended way of doing things but does the job. Of coarse flipping the drag link and raising the track bar is the right way to do things.

Well, I already have a relocation bracket that will raise the track bar. Maybe with that and a flip it, we might have a fix.

I ordered the synergy TRE adapter to reverse the taper, is it safe to use with the OEM drag link or will I need to get a new drag link?

Did happen to check to make sure you are not binding on anything? Since removing the drop pitman it may caused something else to cause a bind.

I don't feel it binding on anything. I'm going to go with flipping the drag link but i'm not sure if its safe to do it with the OEM drag link or do I have go get a new one.

I have the AEV flip and you use an OEM drag link. Also uses the stock trackbar for 3.5" of lift. If you are taller, you may need adjustable trackbar.
