Keep in mind 1) the TB is one of the most important components on your JK, and 2) keeping a jeep driving nice on the pavement is REALLY what is the hard part. It's not about being "hardcore". For a TB, focus on the joints in the ends and go with something that has a bushing rather than a heim or metal joint. Metalcloak's bar is nice and priced reasonably. Synergy and TF are great bars too. Crap TB joints, wallowed TB brackets, and TB bolts that are undertorqued are the cause of 90% or more of wobbles IMO.

I want to go metalcloak but considering my lift is only 2.5 will the metalcloak bar fit. It says its for 3 inch and above?

also is there anything with the drive shaft that needs to be done?
almost there!
Thanks

Often when installing new springs, you achieve a bit more actual lift than the stated value. I can't recall how accurate AEV springs tend to be. Jadmt can probably advise based on a lot of experience with AEV if you should expect a little more or not. My point being that even though MC says for 3" liftst.....you are pretty much going to be there. The difference is going to be pretty negligible.

You should be fine with your DS for a while. I have seen front driveshafts going on jeeps that had a 2.5" budget boost and never left the pavement though. They tend to be time bombs on any lifted JK. That said, it's not an urgent matter and you can just address it if it ever dies. What happens is the boot at the transfer case side will rip (due to the angle) and it will spew all the grease onto the underside of your tub. You'll see the obvious sign if you just occasionally look under there. you will not see the rip, but you'll see big black streak cross your underside. Adjusting caster is the most important thing when lifting a jeep.....and sounds like you already have that addressed with brackets. Other than that it's just getting out and using the thing and having fun! Keep reading up on things and soak up information like a sponge. Read up about ball joints and keep em in the back of your head. That is a common problem on our JKs with lifts and larger tires.

Mine was off 1/8...adjusted each toe 1/16.
