I agree with jeepmojo make a list and prioritize it according to need and what you want. something breaks then move your list down and fix it lol. that's my problem now.

I'm a welder/fabricator of armored military vehicles for a defense contractor. My wife just signed a contract as a Nurse Practitioner and yet some how I still run out of mods $$$ before I run out of mods.

Welding Engineering student here. I've worked fabrication jobs and as a warehouse assistant in the past.

Headed down to SoCal in Jan.
Hoping I can find a decent job so I don't work the warehouse again lol.

I'm a mid class blue collar worker on construction sites. I have a pretty heavily modded JKUR on 35s, and another old custom Jeep that makes the JK look like a toy. I'm also 58, married for 30 years, kids moved out, house paid for, grand kids. For us, it was live below your means. Anyone NOT know what that means ? It's what it takes in the long run to be able to do just about what ever you want when you want it. It also means immediate satisfaction is not part of the equation. I think that is a big problem today, people spend what they have right now because they think another check will be there next week. And their right. Then you are living check to check. Got to put some away what ever it takes. And it takes living below your means and saving.

It's rough. Any chance you could go FTS? We are identical to active duty except we generally dont go on boats unless it is with a squadron deployment. It's the Navy's best kept secret. I love my job. I spent the last 4 years as a glorified airport worker. Going back to sea duty in Feb though.
