Default What r the best All-terrains

I'm looking for some good all terrains, but I don't want them to wear as much. My mud terrains have lasted a year and there almost done. My only problems is I want to keep the rugged look. I've been looking at the MT ATZs. Any recommendations would be helpful.

A safe bet would be the Goodyear Duratracs. I run them and many members swear by them.

For more on road than off-road, and less mud, then I would recommend the BF Goodrich All-Terrain KO's.
  • Reasonably priced
  • Great on road/highway ride
  • Great wear
  • Quiet
  • Good trail/rock traction
There's my !

Ive been looking for an agressive A/T as well and settled on Goodyear Duratracs (coming spring 2011). I went to a local goodyear dealer to see the display tire in person and they look almost like a MT...a little closer lug spacing and alot of siping. They look like great tires and I heve never seen a bad review

Gotta vote for the Mickeys. I like the aggressive tread pattern of the duratracs, but I don't think I could feel confident with only a 2 ply side wall. The Mickeys have 3 plys so they get my vote...or the BFGs

I had Toyo Open Country ATs on my Ford Superduty and they were awesome. Expensive though...

Love my Cooper Discoverer S/Ts, been running them for 47K miles now and will probably get another 10-15k out of them before I put on a new set.

I ran both BFG KO and Duratracs. For outright snow performance, trail performance, quietness, etc... the Duratracs kick the KO's butt. However, the KO did feel less "squirrely" on the highway.
