Default What rear bumper??

I am trying to decide on a rear bumper. I am looking to spend around 500. I like the or fab, but would have to wait a while to get the matching tire carrier, which leaves me without my hilift. So now I'm leaning toward the rancho bumper and carrier. Anyone running these, or had experience with both. I would really appreciate some opinions, pics would be great.
Thanks

Why not do a bumper you like the looks of and add the TF hinged carrier? Figure out if you'll be dragging it across the rocks or daily driving it before you decide steel or aluminum. Daily driver dictated that I should goaluminum so I went with a genright rear in alum......it weighs 20lbs as opposed to the 100+ of regular bumpers.

If you don't mind rattles and your tire moving and the fact you'll be spraying alot of water behind you because of how that bumper is designed go for it..... But I think you'll regret it.....

I suggest the High Rock Rear Bumper and tire carrier by Best Top. For the money there is no better fit, the one motion open is very nice. I have experienced no rattles whatsoever with this one. I have a homemade one on my CJ and it rattles (36 inch swamper), and an Eagle Manufacturing unit on my YJ with no rattles (38 inch swamper). I am carrying a 35 inch falken on the JK. I went with the Smittybilt SRC front and rear. Anything is better than that 20lbs of plastic they put front and rear! I want the Smuggler rear bumper, but out of price range for now. Front went on easy, rear was a pain in the a$$ by myself! It rattles alitte at the locking latch, but still am adjusting the tire carrier to stop it.

Yes, it made in China! But, jeep is cheap on paint underneath also. I payed $768 shipped. Someday will get a $1,500 rear bumper and sell this for scrap.

I have a coworker with an extra Smitty tire carrier that he can save some money on, you just have to get a good deal on the bumper.

Save up until you got the money to get the bumper you want. You will not be happy otherwise.

Highly recommend OR-Fab. I have their rear and front bumpers (front is their mid-width) and they're solid. Install is cake, just bolt it on. Rear weighs ~92lbs based on the shipping weight. Fit and finish are excellent, as is the price.

A woman backed into my Jeep in our parking garage a few weeks ago... she cracked my rear passenger side plastic fender and there's a minor dent in the rear right panel based on the angle she hit it, but she left pieces of her Mazda all over the place because of my rear bumper.
