Default Wheel offsets

It's bought 37 inch trail grapplers I have a 4 inch lift and 1.5 inch spacers I don't. Really understand offsets. I am looking at 17 inch fuel kranks and 17 inch fuel boosts but I want to make sure I get the right offset, they come in -12 and +14, will both fit, will both clear my brakes? Which will push the tires out further, does the offset effect the size of the lip ( i like the deep dish look of the kranks and would like a wider stance ) thanks in advance for your help

Here's a little information on offset and back space: (The more knowledgeable folks can explain how it applies to your situation.)

Do the math a couple times, it gets a bit easier to understand.

And 15's are the ones that have caliper clearance issues. No worries with 17's.

These are some fascinating calculations. I spent hours researching, trying to figure out my set up in hope I would have no rubbing. And all I was doing was wheels and tires.

To clear 37x12.50-17 tires on the JK (assuming you have enough lift) you need 4.5 inches of backspace or less. The Boost and Krank are produced in size 17x9 with a -12mm offset which gives you 4.5" of backspace

So a 17x8.5 with a -12 off set with a 4.25 backspace should work fine?

Can you price me a set of 5
