Smittybilt just came out with a new series of winches, and they are completely waterproof. Something that I don't believe even Warn advertises. I love mine and haven't had any problems. I wish I had the waterproof one though....

I've had an xrc10 for about 5 months now. Came with the synthetic line. Used it two weeks ago to pull me out when I got completely bottomed out on my frame trying to cross a snowdrift. Worked great and the price is awesome for a 10k with syn line
